The problems with the grotesquely misnamed Human Rights Watch extend far beyond this closet Nazi fetishist.
The entire organization is corrupt, and the same is true of Amnesty International.

New conservative 527 group has raised $30 million
If you are unhappy with the Republican National Committee and still wish to find a way to support Republican candidates, there is a new organization to which you might contribute: American Crossroads. Like New Ledger's Pejman Yousefzadeh, I supported Michael Steele's candidacy for head of the RNC and now regret it as he has consistently failed to meet my expectations. If the Republicans are to take back the federal government it must be by proving their willingness to be fiscally responsible and the wasteful spending of the RNC under Steele is no way to send that message.
The Washington Examiner, citing Brody Mullins, describes the organizers of American Crossroads:
The new American Crossroads organization will be run by former RNC Chairman Mike Duncan and Joanne Davidson, a onetime RNC co-chair. Former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie and former White House adviser Karl Rove are informally advising the organization. The day-to-day operations will be handled by Steven Law, who is leaving a top role at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Republican consultant Jim Dyke will also be involved.
Peter Stone at the National Journal has even more details on the group:
So far, the new soft-money group, American Crossroads, has received commitments of almost $30 million and is seeking to raise a total of some $60 million to help dozens of Senate and House incumbents and challengers this fall, say three sources familiar with the new 527. In contrast, at the start of January, the Republican National Committee had only $8.4 million in the bank compared with the $22.8 million it had on had a year earlier when Steele was elected chairman.Steven J. Law, the general counsel at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and one time executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, is expected late next week to take over as president and chief executive officer of the 527. American Crossroads is now assembling a board of directors that's likely to include some big donors and a few GOP luminaries.Clarice Feldman

Western Legacy Alliance Supports Overhaul of the EAJA Act
Moreland,Idaho--The Western Legacy Alliance wholeheartedly offers its full support to H.R. 4717, the Open EAJA Act of 2010 which will begin the process in Capitol Hill of uncovering the funding of environmental groups and the army of lawyers have abused the Equal Access to Justice Act receiving millions in taxpayer dollars to advance their agenda.Stop your tax dollars from being spent on behalf of self-serving organizations that bite the hands that feed them. Call or write or email your congressman today.
This bipartisan effort co-authored by Representatives Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-SD) and Rob Bishop (R-UT) will open the government’s books and finally shed some light on these abuses.
The Equal Access to Justice Act was never intended to be used as a funding source for any political cause or as a backdoor to advancing an agenda. Almost 30 years ago, with the best of intentions Congress passed the EAJA. Simply stated EAJA said that if the government had done wrong against small businesses, including farms and ranches, and they challenged the government in federal court, they would not have to go bankrupt awash in legal fees protecting their rights. If they were victorious in court, the government would have to pay their legal fees. It leveled the playing field so that Citizen David could stand up and defend himself against Big Government Goliath.
EAJA abuse is just the tip of the iceberg as these radical environmental groups have tapped other sources of taxpayer dollars that were never meant for that purpose to fund their agenda. As Congress begins the process of following the money trail of EAJA abuse, we urge them to continue uncovering other ways that the taxpayer’s hard earned dollars are being used to advance a particular political agenda and support the ever growing cottage industry of environmental lawyers and the special interests that profit from this abuse.
With soaring deficits, Congress needs to ensure that every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely. H.R.4717 should be the first of many steps in that direction. Representatives
Lummis, Herseth Sandlin and Bishop should be commended for their groundbreaking efforts and we urge all Members of Congress to sign on as co-sponsors to this important legislation.

'Militia' used as manipulation
Let us theorize for a moment: what if a state revives a state militia, for the sole and expressed purposes of defending that state against foreign and domestic tyranny and usurpations, as expressed in the second amendment? What if three-fourths of the states deny this state the right of protecting its freedom, independence and sovereignty through a well-regulated militia? What if the federal government attempts to shut the militia operation down and criminally prosecutes those participating? No, it's not about some supposedly well-armed "crackpot" group being targeted by the media. It is all about the sovereignty of your State, and it has as much to do with the Tenth Amendment as the Second.
As I have repeatedly stated, the States in America are choosing (and will be forced to choose) which path they are going to take: the road to freedom or tyranny? Some will choose the path of truth and freedom. Others will choose the path of manipulation, lies and slavery. And so the principles of limited government may be able to thrive once again in those states that choose freedom.

Every Democrat politician, bureaucrat, party activist is like this. Every one of them.
John Edwards: My part in his downfall, by Andrew Young
He was the Democratic hopeful who fell from grace after betraying his critically ill wife and fathering a love child. And now the personal assistant who covered up his lying and cheating is telling the whole story…

Once you follow that trail and understand what took place in Jefferson County, there's really no room left for illusions. We live in a gangster state, and our days of laughing at other countries are over. It's our turn to get laughed at. In Birmingham, lots of people have gone to jail for the crime: More than 20 local officials and businessmen have been convicted of corruption in federal court. Last October, right around the time that Lisa Pack went back to work at reduced hours, Birmingham's mayor was convicted of fraud and money-laundering for taking bribes funneled to him by Wall Street bankers — everything from Rolex watches to Ferragamo suits to cash. But those who greenlighted the bribes and profited most from the scam remain largely untouched. "It never gets back to JP Morgan," says Pack. [emphasis mine]Oh, yes, there's major bribery involved, and the EPA had its own part to play in this debacle. Read it all.

A Letter to the Hebrews from Nanoc the REMF a/k/a Fastac_6:
I was looking at the post on B. Hussein's latest appointments, and something that had been troubling me deep down leapt forward. I considered a herem, but decided my standing is such that it would cause more trouble than good. So, I will post a simple plea:
The charge to the Jewish people through the millennia has been simple. At its core, Torah is a simple business contract between G-d and the Jewish people. "Follow My Laws, and I will grant you these rewards." Implicit in the agreement is the idea that in following the Law, Jews become a light for the world, a living Testament to G-d and all about Him that is Good. Work hard, care for one another, always be learning, and do not do to others that which is hateful unto you. In following this path, Jews have become subject to much painful persecution, for being different. Yet, through the millennia, enough Jews have stayed on that path that, for the most part, a Jew of 2,500 years ago would recognize the rituals and many customs of Jews today.
In our course through History, we Jews have freely given much to the world and continue that through today. Science, literature, religious philosophy, the arts.........Occasionally we stumble, and give you a Karl Marx. Marxist thought leads to the destruction of all that is good about humanity- incentive, creativity, worship of G-d, the entire concept of individuals having worth. I call upon all my fellow Jews, in the Honor of All that is Holy, to immediately distance themselves from the administration of Barack Hussein Obama and all participation in Marxist thought and activities. Your continuing participation is a חילול השם, and can only bring tragedy and disaster upon yourselves and all Jews. I am an old Cold Warrior, and lived with the history and reality of how Jews fared in the old Soviet Union. It did not go well.
-Rabbi Mair ben Baruch haCohen.
